Starting SRI
The 3 Energy States:
- Energy Poor
- Energy Neutral
- Energy Rich
We often opt for remaining in Energy Neutral rather than having to feel the “bad stuff”, but in doing so also opt out of the “good feels” too.
There is no way to turn it down without turning it ALL down, so we exchange the full, beautiful range of experience for a life of neutral.
SRI is an opportunity to invite life in by experiencing the GIFT that comes with simply allowing, and being with “what is”.
Ground Rules of your SRI experience:
- You have a healer within you which is always present, always perfect. Trust that healer is working with and within you right now. As we practice, there is no right or wrong, just experience.
- Remember, even with what we normally would regard as negative feelings, as soon as you bring full, pure, non-judgemental, presence to “What is” you already and instantaneously shift to energy rich.

Hand placement and how to add focus to the exercise.
Breath: In through the nose, out through the mouth
Initial Scan: Bringing Breath, Energy, Movement to each of the 3 positions (with specificity)
What to look for:
- Which position feels peaceful, easy
- Which feels disconnected, stuck, checked-out
Check-in—Did you find it?
Your body position: Sitting vs. Lying down
Classically we do most of the exercises lying down, but either is ok. This is nice to know any time you want to do SRI, no matter where you are.
If you are lying down, you want to make sure to have your knees bent and no pillow under your head)
